Also, some older news:
On Friday the 14th (2010), Julianna Vezzetti and Meghann Sommer had a trunk show and a fashion runway jewelry show at the Greenwood Collective, thanks to Kate Barnett who invited us to share her space for the night. She was an amazing host and everyone seemed in a great mood checking out the jewels and other amazing artwork!
Here's a blog post about the event:
Thank you so much for the blog about our Runway Show! You two girls were soooo awesome for helping us out!

Treasuries: Spring and Summer Approaches
I made a couple treasuries over the past few days - - one in memorial to the summer I thought was coming:
and the other to celebrate the tiny signs of spring I've been imagining here and there:

wigs on cats
Here is a few of the costumes I've sewn up for various occassions. I'll bring in some more detailed photos soon enough as well...

| Lunar Moth: stretchy silver metallics, sheer spring green silk, a pearly sage colored organza, black and white acrylic paint, cotton thread |

| Psychedelic Fox: this is an incomplete photo because i only have the mask hat on. made from a variety of cottons, sequins, polyesters and other found objects |
this is new
Jean-Paul says I have a cat brain. I think of the few true delights in life and everything else is just going through the motions. Space is amazing and absurd. I've also been told I have the personality of a 50s housewife on Quaaludes. I like to imagine that this is an immense compliment.
I am working on a book that Christine and I are having published that is completely photos of metaldudes and their cats. It's amazing and I am really excited. Sample photos to come.
Moving to LA soon as well. Hopefully I'll be able to sell my jewelry and other work there to make a little money. Also very excited for music prospects.
